Resolve an outcome with operator evidence

Sometimes automated lookup cannot establish whether an action happened. An operator may have additional evidence, such as a provider console record or a support-confirmed operation identifier. Preserve that evidence and distinguish the operator's conclusion from an automatic provider read-back.

Anlyon labels operator resolution as manual. A manual succeeded outcome grades acknowledged rather than confirmed. The distinction tells later readers how the result was established; it is not a judgment about the operator's care.

Build a resolution packet

Include the original invocation and effect identifiers, environment, target, action version and intended quantity. Add the provider evidence identifier, observation time, the conclusion it supports, and any remaining uncertainty. Link to restricted evidence storage when records contain customer data rather than copying sensitive payloads into broadly visible notes.

An empty search alone is often weak negative evidence. Metadata can change and provider history may be bounded.

Make the accounting consequence explicit

Resolution can affect whether uncertain exposure remains held or becomes settled. Before confirming a decision, inspect the relevant effect and allowance. Never resolve failure solely to free capacity for another action. That turns an accounting pressure into an unsupported claim about the external world.

Record who made the decision through the supported operator path. Keep resolution privileges separate from the agent's normal invocation credential. The agent should be able to report that review is needed without being able to declare its own uncertain operation settled.

Close the application loop

Update the application's business operation record with the resolved outcome and evidence source. Notify the responsible workflow rather than instructing the model to guess from an incident note. Preserve the original attempt for later investigation.
