Bound an agent's customer email sends
Review exact recipients and content, count to/cc/bcc impact, and distinguish a confirmed Resend record from inbox delivery.
Approving a customer email means approving its recipients and actual content, not just the agent's description of the message. A later edit to the recipient list or body should require a new reviewed request.
Anlyon's Resend adapter fixes a sending domain and can narrow allowed from-addresses. It counts one email unit per recipient across to, cc and bcc. Configure an applicable shared email limit in the intended environment and keep the provider key outside the agent runtime.
Review the full send
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| From address and sending domain | Defines the represented sender |
| To, cc and bcc | Every recipient contributes to impact |
| Subject, text and HTML | The actual customer-visible message |
| Operation identity | Prevents a restarted task becoming a new send |
| Shared capacity | Bounds sends across applicable agents and sessions |
A request to four recipients is not automatically reduced to two when only two units remain. Applicable capacity admission is whole-operation behavior. Inspect the refusal and revise the business request explicitly if a smaller send is appropriate.
Understand what confirmed means
A Resend receipt is confirmed when Resend's own record returns the email on read-back. It does not prove inbox delivery or reading. Bounces, complaints and later delivery events are a separate part of the email lifecycle.
The adapter requires a full-access Resend key because verification needs read access. A sending-only key is not an equivalent configuration. Check the current adapter requirements before replacing credentials.
Handle uncertainty without spamming
After a lost response, preserve the original operation. Supported reconciliation looks for evidence tied to the effect, with a bounded search. Finding nothing does not prove the send never happened. Do not create a fresh send just because a customer has not seen the message yet.
Use safe test recipients under your control when validating the workflow. No live email is required to understand the local lost-response demonstration.
